Inspired by Olivia Kieffer’s collection of short toy piano solos “The Texture of Activity,” each piece of Everything is Very Small is dedicated to a friend. The titles reflect something of their personalities, or musical tastes. My life has been much improved by these people, so the least I could do was write them a little toy piano ditty.
