Bio

John Secunde (b. 1995) is a musician and visual artist from Limerick, Maine. Drawing inspiration from words, numbers, nature, sights, and sounds, he makes and writes music that combines finely-crafted transparency with playful seriousness.
John performs on guitar, toy piano, found instruments, and occasionally triangle. He is cofounder of the chamber band Drive(J:), and half of art-rock outfit Listening Box.
Under the name Autoglass, John makes experimental/noise music, involving contact microphones, electronic instruments, field recordings, and general sonic tomfoolery.
As a visual artist, John works in various media, employing prints, paint, pens, and collage to make images that capture refined chaos.
When he is not creating, John enjoys reading, collecting wheat pennies, going down Wikipedia holes, and long walks - preferably up a mountain. He lives in southern Maine with his wife Abbey and puppy Charlie.
